Sea Phoenix Hotel - My Khe Beach Da Nang

We loved the sea-side view and the walkability to many great restaurants and beach clubs while still being on the quiet side of town. Only a 5 min walk to the beach, and the rooftop pool views were awesome. The buffet was good and we had no issues checking in and storing bags after checkout. Would highly recommend.

The gym is rudimentary, but there are fitness spots around town.

Great location, great value and lovely staff. I ended up staying two nights longer than planned.

The place is a little dated, but you get what you pay for, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I liked the hotel and its staff were friendly and it was quiet so it was comfortable to stay here.

The bed is comfortable and the water pressure is excellent.

The tv is completely inclined on one side. The fridge is broken. The wc get easily stocked. The staff takes hours to came to solve the issues.

Great value! Rooms and hotel are very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I like that there’s a breakfast buffet. It’s nothing fancy but it’s nice to have.

The kids were complaining about a bit too much chlorine in the pool which made their eyes hurt.

I booked this hotel for the bathtub and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely pool facility. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable. Lots of hot water and good water pressure.

Bright, fresh room. Nice roof top pool area with great sea views. Close to the beach and easy walking distance to bars/restaurants.

Breakfast was not as good as expected.Cleaning staff very noisy in the corridors.

Stayed in the suite on the top floor. It was a great room. The only problem is the soundproofing into the other room. We could hear everything, kind of strange.

Honestly, I would stay away

Got given a sticky filthy dirty room card that made my hand dirty, staff were nonchalant and unhappy or stoic, when we went into the room it was very musty with a terrible mould smell. Room was not high quality and the windows seals not in the best condition. Corridor lights were dingey and the place gave homeless vibes.Quality was so low for us that after debating for 15 minutes, we left a room we paid for and didn't even ask for a refund. We went to another hotel immediately.

Lovely hotel that we got at reduced price. Ten minute walk from the 'Western' centre of Da Nang. Across the road from the beach, rooftop pool is lovely. The place is clean, comfortable and the staff friendly. Great bed!

I'm not a fan of AC, and the road outside is noisy. But the windows are pretty good sound proofing. Just means you either use the AC, or keep the windows shut, or use ear plugs.. not a problem, just got info.

The room was nicely decorated, extremely comfy bed, linen and pillows. Despite my room being on street , I couldn't hear any noise during night. The room had nice lighting, kettle, working safe, soft towels and a bath tub with overhead shower that I was looking forward to using. The free breakfast was good with a selection of hot vietnamese porridge, pho and stir fries. They cooked eggs to order. Range of cold meats, salad, fruit, breads, juice and coffee.The gym had several machines to use. The rooftop pool was nice large area with good views of the sea and large resort opposite. There were 2 sunloungers and many tables to sit at. The pool water was extremely cold due to the rain and low temperatures. The rooftop bar served a small selection of food. There was no stocked bar but they could offer you coffee, coke or juice on request. There were a selection of books to read and a pool table, minus white ball that had been taken by a guest!

This was my 3rd hotel stay in Danang city. I chose it because of the bath tub in the room and the sauna available. Sadly, the hotel obviously doesn't have constant hot water and is dependant on the weather, seeing the solar panels on the rooftop. Due to rain and lack of sun, the water was only lukewarm and I was not able to have a nice soak in the bath during my stay! The facilities state a sauna. What they do not tell you until you have paid for your room, is the sauna is not free unless you have booked a certain room rate. I showed them the facilities listed for my booking which states first as sauna. I suggest that they put in brackets (fee applies for most room rates). So a disappointing stay as the two things I chose this hotel for where not available!

I booked the room with sea view which was nice, clean and well equipped. Staff are helpful and nice. The location is great, 5 min walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets close by.

Breakfast could be improved by adding more fruits.

The restaurant isn’t open anymore, which isn’t reflected on Booking.com. And the gym is old and dirty with equipment needing repairs.
